Free Mental Health camps
Being in the area of mental health, our mission is to make psychiatric treatment available to most underprivileged slum dwellers of Hyderabad and Secunderabad.
roshini Trust created an awareness program to help people living in underprivileged communities to be able to identify symptoms of mental illness to rid the taboos associated with it. We run two free psychiatric camps at Ramakrishna Math and roshini counselling centre, where consultation, counseling and free medicines are dispensed. Every fortnight there is a review by the psychiatrist and ongoing medicines are provided
Psychiatry at Your Doorstep
Being in the area of mental health, our mission is to make psychiatric treatment available to most underprivileged slum dwellers of Hyderabad and Secunderabad.
To facilitate this, we have a psychiatric group consisting of a psychiatrist, a counsellor, and a coordinator to dispense medicines. To be able to reach out to new areas other than the already existing centres and furrow into the interiors, a van equipped with medicines and the above staff travel to underprivileged slum areas – Psychiatry at Your Doorstep.
This enables professional help to reach the doorstep of those who cannot be transported to the hospital, being weak, too old, the geriatric, the violent and aggressive and the underprivileged.
